Precautions to check over prior to EIC arriving:

1.                  Tearing a roof off is messy work; you are responsible for your attic.  All attic-stored materials need to be covered during tear off to protect them from falling debris.

2.                  We need to have two electrical outlets, 20 amps or more and on separate circuits, for use. (Example: Extension cord out back window and from porch light with screw-in adapter for plug in.)

3.                  Always keep your autos, pets, and children away form work areas.

4.                  Inform us of the best place for our vehicles, trailers, and materials.

5.                  We need a contact number (home, work, neighbors, etc.) for questions or ready access into your house. (Example: A blown fuse or tripped breaker.)

6.                  We prefer your house and garage is left locked.  We can contact your with any questions.  We leave at breaks and lunch.

7.                  If you wish anything to be removed from the roof (such as antenna) or have anything added (such as weather vane) this is the time to communicate this.

8.                  As we are working on your home or building, we request that people enter or leave only in areas we are not presently working on.

9.                  We need to know of any plants, trees, bushes, etc. we might have to pay special attention to.

10.             Transfer to a safe place any flowerpots, hanging plants or yard ornaments, which may be in our work area.  Your porch furniture etc. is your responsibility; our crews are paid to do your roof.  If necessary items are not moved, we will need to move them, and there may be some cost associated.

11.             It is a good idea to have all windows and doors closed because dirt and debris can come in through your screens.

12.             This is the time to change your roofline.  We can install or remove dormers, power vents, skylights, porch roofs, entire truss systems, flat roofs, and carports or breezeways.  We can make your home look like your dreams.
